The First ConstructConnect + HubSpot Integration Is Here
8:50

If your construction company runs on both ConstructConnect and HubSpot, you already know the problem: those two systems don't talk to each other. Your estimators find bid opportunities in ConstructConnect Insight. Your sales team tracks relationships in HubSpot. And someone — usually someone expensive — copies data from one into the other by hand.

ConstructConnect built a native integration for Salesforce years ago. If your CRM is HubSpot, you've been on your own. Custom builds run $20,000 to $50,000 and still need someone to maintain them. Most teams just live with the manual workaround and absorb the cost in hours.

That changes today. Set2Close has built and productized the first managed ConstructConnect + HubSpot integration — already validated in production with a live client before we ever put up a landing page.

What the Integration Does

The short version: your ConstructConnect bid and project data shows up in HubSpot automatically, every morning, with no manual entry required.

Here's the longer version of how it works.

ConstructConnect exports your saved search data to a secure SFTP server on a nightly schedule. Our managed sync engine picks up that export at approximately 3:00 AM EST, parses the file, and creates or updates two custom HubSpot objects — Projects and Bids — with up to 50 mapped fields per client. Every Bid record is automatically linked to its parent Project and to the correct Company and Contact records in your CRM. The HubSpot schema validates and updates itself on every run, so there's no manual maintenance after go-live.

When your team opens HubSpot in the morning, the latest bid opportunities, project details, and estimator assignments are already there. Each record includes a clickable deep-link back into ConstructConnect Insight, so anyone on the team can jump straight to the source project without logging in separately and searching for it.

What Gets Synced Into HubSpot

The integration creates two custom objects in HubSpot. Which specific fields are populated is confirmed with each client during a discovery session — this is a customization point, not a rigid template.

Project records can include the project name and location (broken into address, city, county, state, and ZIP), project stage and type, sector, primary work type, CSI codes, estimated valuation, square footage, bid date and time, owner or awarding authority, architect or engineer, general contractor, delivery method, bonding and prevailing wage requirements, addenda count, and a deep-link back into the ConstructConnect plan room.

Bid records can include the bid name, bidder role, trade and scope, bid status, bid due date, estimated internal value, whether plans have been downloaded, bond submission status, and the saved search that surfaced the opportunity. Each Bid is associated with its parent Project and with the relevant Company and Contact records in HubSpot.

Field mapping is documented and signed off before the build begins, and schema updates are handled automatically — no tickets, no maintenance windows, no surprises.

Why This Matters for Construction Companies on HubSpot

Construction firms that use ConstructConnect Insight for preconstruction intelligence and HubSpot as their CRM have been stuck in a gap that no one has closed until now. The downstream effects of that gap are real.

Manual data entry eats estimator and sales time that should be spent on winning work. Bid data that lives only in ConstructConnect can't be reported on in HubSpot dashboards, which means pipeline visibility is incomplete. And when projects move from bidding to awarded and data isn't synced, follow-up falls through the cracks.

This integration makes HubSpot the single source of truth for your sales team. Every bid opportunity that matches your saved searches in ConstructConnect flows into HubSpot overnight, fully enriched and properly associated, ready for your team to act on.

How It Compares to ConstructConnect's Salesforce Integration

ConstructConnect offers a native Salesforce integration called Insight Sync. It runs a daily SFTP sync, supports bid ranking, links records to companies and contacts, and includes a deep-link back into the platform. It costs $15,000 per year.

Set2Close's HubSpot integration matches that feature set and adds capabilities the Salesforce option doesn't include: a dedicated discovery session to map your specific field requirements, up to three training sessions for your team, a fully managed implementation handled by a HubSpot Elite Solutions Partner, ongoing support with up to 10 tickets per month, and flexible custom objects rather than standard Salesforce objects. The annual cost is $11,988 — roughly $3,000 less per year than the Salesforce option, with more hands-on support included.

The one area where the Salesforce integration has an edge is single sign-on into the ConstructConnect platform. Our integration uses deep-links rather than full SSO. For most teams, that's a non-issue — the deep-link opens the project in ConstructConnect Insight directly, which is what people actually need.

What It Costs

Setup is a one-time fee of $4,500. That covers the discovery session, the full build with testing and QA, up to three training sessions, and go-live support with handoff documentation.

The ongoing subscription is $999 per month, which includes infrastructure hosting, monitoring, automatic schema maintenance on every sync run, and up to 10 support tickets per month with a two-business-day response time. There are no per-seat fees and no usage limits.

Historical bid data imports, custom field mapping changes after go-live, and HubSpot workflow automations tied to the integration are scoped and priced separately.

Two Requirements Before You Get Started

This integration has two firm technical prerequisites that should be confirmed before scheduling a discovery session.

First, you need HubSpot Enterprise — specifically Sales Hub, Service Hub, or Marketing Hub at the Enterprise tier. The custom objects that this integration relies on are not available on HubSpot Professional or below.

Second, you need an active ConstructConnect Insight subscription with SFTP export enabled. If SFTP export isn't currently turned on, your ConstructConnect Customer Success Manager can enable it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this integration built by ConstructConnect? No. This integration is built and managed by Set2Close, a HubSpot Elite Solutions Partner. ConstructConnect provides the SFTP data export that feeds the integration; Set2Close handles everything from there — the sync engine, HubSpot schema management, field mapping, and ongoing support.

How often does the data sync? Once daily, at approximately 3:00 AM EST. The sync processes all changes since the last run, so your HubSpot records reflect the latest ConstructConnect data every morning.

Can I choose which ConstructConnect saved searches feed the sync? Yes. Which of your saved searches are included in the SFTP export is configured during the discovery session. Only the projects and bids that match your selected searches will sync into HubSpot.

Will this create duplicate Company or Contact records in HubSpot? The integration uses association logic to link Bid and Project records to existing Company and Contact records in your CRM. The specifics of how matching works are confirmed during discovery to align with your data model.

Does this work with HubSpot Professional? No. HubSpot Enterprise is required because the integration creates custom objects (Projects and Bids), which are an Enterprise-tier feature.

What if I need to change field mappings after go-live? Post-go-live field mapping changes are available and scoped separately. The initial mapping is documented and signed off before the build begins, so most clients get it right the first time.

Is this a proven integration or a concept? It's proven. The integration was validated in production with a live client — syncing 250+ bid records daily — before it was ever offered commercially.

Ready to Connect ConstructConnect to HubSpot?

If your team is spending hours copying bid data between systems, or if you migrated from Salesforce to HubSpot and lost your ConstructConnect integration in the process, this solves both problems.
